Accurate is now making a version of this reel that is specifically designed for slow pitch jigging. The BV-500N-SPJ differs from the regular verison in that it has a longer handle with a very cool long offset aluminum knob, no clicker and it doesn’t come with a clamp set though you can purchse one if you need it. It weighs a bit more due to the large handle. These models are all silver.  

Accurate Boss Valiant BV-500N and BV-500N-SPJ Single-Speed Lever Drag Reels have a 6:1 gear ratio. The 500N are silver/red while the SPJ models are all silver. Choose from right and left handed models.
